AxialLIF 2L PLUS system is a modular axial rod for lumbosacral fusion, that allows an improved fixation and a controlled distraction of the L4-S1 segment.

Indications:

• Pseudoarthrosis (previously unsuccessful fusion)
• Spinal stenosis
• Spondylolisthesis (maximum Grade I)
• Degenerative disc disease (DDD), confirmed by the patient’s history and study of X-rays

• Stabilization of section L4-S1 of the spinal column, through intersomatic fusion
• Minimally invasive access using a retroperitoneal presacral approach
• Allows for distraction of up to 7 mm of the L5-S1 interbody area
• The capability to carry out a distraction to L4-L5 level, during the implant positioning
• Versatile, thanks to the different configurations available (neutral distraction 10×10 and minimum distraction 10×11), it allows for personalized disc height restoration, adapting to each patient’s specific anatomy
• The final implant is strength and stable, passing through 5 cortices (2 belonging to the S1 vertebra, 2 to L5 and 1 to L4)
